They just don't make many birthday wishes as belated as mine. Moreover I find it ironic that I'd be giving you your gift pic on my birthday. Not a bad ironic, just fun.


I HAD SO MUCH FUN DRAWING DALL & MORIT, YOU HAVE NO IDEA
For those who don't know *Nakarie's awesome dimensional duo, the tall gentleman is Dall(amrr) and the little person on his hat is Morit. Did I mention they're awesome?

I haven't introduced that small girl under cover of kind Dall's exotic parasol (I'm told he has many, many, manymanymany parasols). OH WAIT I HAVE
It's Edith Warsent, but when she was still a homeless orphan girl on the streets of [name not found; may have been torn violently from existence].

I played around with the possibilities surrounding Z's rift walkers' ability to cross time, dimensions, and continuums, and decided maybe there was a time in [stop trying to type the name in, dumbass] where Edith was not supposed to get wet from oncoming rain. That's where rift walkers can step in: preventing things that aren't supposed to happen.

The remedy was simple: Dall would come along as a kind-hearted phantom-sort and provide Edith with some rare cover from the weather.

Such a nice fellow.

EDIT: I am not at all comfortable with the background as it is; keep an eye out if you're interested in seeing an actual backdrop, perhaps the actual streets of [are you dense or something, Baltis].

EDIT II: Here's attempt #1 at a different background. It doesn't justify [I don't even have anything contemptuous left to adequately scold you with right now], but it's what I was able to conjure up this time.
Also, after having scrutinized the perspective given by the background as is, I'll need to scoot Edith down a bit so it doesn't look like she's floating rather close to Dall's foot.
